The Dream City of Felstat

I’ve been working on this project for more than 30 years. The city of Felstat began as a dream. It has a complicated history, but the history is not the point. As with my Lost Civilization Project and my Empty Gods, the imagined history generates the forms, but then only the forms tell the story.

Felstat is a word from the language of my dreams. It is short for fehelesetatthu, and it means “because there was no choice.”
