Jersey City and the Hudson Estuary

The map shows a slice of New Jersey and New York reaching from Newark Airport (at left) deep into Brooklyn (at right). Central Park is at the top, lust right of centre.

This was my second big map, for a client in Jersey City. The window has a hostile backdrop, and needed strong opacity. The client’s taste is Modernist. I aimed for something that blended geographical accuracy with an Abstract Expressionist effect.
