TRACING A TREE

This was a very precious commission. An old friend asked me to intervene on an upstairs window. Having viewed it from several design angles, I decided to trace the tree outside, which was a pretty maple. I emphasized the angles with highlights in red and blue.

The tree, these years later, is gone. This window memorializes a very pretty tree. It brought an energy to that space, a direction. We have kept that.

I would love to trace another tree.
